How can I protect my patches from UV / fading?

I have some patches in a display case that are subject to some ambient ultraviolet/sunlight during the day. Some are fading.

Is there anything I can do to prevent them from fading?

I've seen some UV protectant sprays, but I'm hesitant on spraying my patches.

Any ideas?
